Kickdown linkage

I'm in the process of re-installing my transmission.  It did  not have
a a kickdown linkage before as it had a reverse pattern manual shift
valve body.  I got a linkage setup from a fellow lister but it looks
different from what is shown in my FSM.  If I can figure out how to
post some pictures you'll see what I mean.
