Johan, a nice-driver-or-better 57/58 Dodge HT is going
to begin at around $20K...depending on the particular car
and the knowledge/motivation of its seller.

About 20 years ago, Einar O. thought that $11K was outrageous
for my car (back when I was considering selling it), and it was
no way  as well refined and dialed-in, performancewise, as it is,
today.

Your best bet is to keep watching the Craigslist listings, if you are
trying to buy a decent car for less than $20K.

The market is going up, as our economy improves.
