I'm not totally familiar with your Torsion bars, but I installed 
spoilers on Hondas and Acuras for many years. I have the tool And lots 
of the removed bars.
I can send photos of the bar and how if fits on the bar, if anyone 
wants. Email me directly so I can send the photos. Might not be exactly 
what you need, but might give you the idea of how to make the tool for 
your needs.

come-a-long to help move the bar into the most rearward slot or perhaps 
a homemade tool. Doesn't appear to be an easy task. But surely its 
been sucessfully completed by some member of this group. I really don't 
want to use a prop to hold up the trunk lid !!!!!!
