I use POR-15 (stands for "Paint Over Rust"). The stuff is incredibly tough
and can be brushed on with excellent finish. Go to www.POR-15.com.
Eastwood also makes a product called Coroless. I don't know anyone who's
used it though. It only comes in an ugly brownish color unlike the POR-15
though.

there was a spray on product at one time called
either 'Restore' or 'Renew' used for coating
rusting metal to stop the rust. Does anyone know
if this is still available? I haven't seen it
locally lately. Haven't done a web search yet.
