[FWDLK] Ball Joints

Hi Guys,
        I'm having a hard time getting Lower Ball Joints for my "57" Desoto
Fireflite. Napa, Auto Zone, And my local auto parts store all say that
there books call for a pressed in joint but the ones that I took out are
threaded just like the uppers. Are the books wrong, Do I have a mid-model
change or what. Or does anyone know where I can get the right parts.
