  Tim,
    On the lower dash, on one side of the steering column( on right side for 67/68 Imperials-can't recall which side on my 66 Coupe) there is a chrome knob which when turned  counterclockwise will reset your trip meter. If it hasn't been used for a while it could take a little extra effort.

The switch up on the RH rear roofrail turns on the
lights in the door pull of both rear doors.
