'73 resto' project - TQ carb question

I know we've gone through this before, but...
isn't the TQ a Carter spreadbore? As far as I remember all the other Carters 
(AVS, AFB) are square bore.
The most popular spreadbores are TQ and Q-jets.  Most everything else is a 
squarebore.
