Imperial division: 1955 - 1983

1981 - 1983 Imperials are NOT Chryslers.  Both Chrysler and the federal
government recognized these cars as a separate make.  "Chrysler" badging
didn't appear on them at all.  Many MoPar clubs, including the WPC Club,
also uphold the separate make status.

The '81-83 Imperials are indeed Chrysler Imperials, regardless of body
designation (as are the '90-94 models).
