a quick call to the amazing IMPERIAL MAN Jim Harris in Seattle and a
replacement module arrived here in Perth West Australia within seven days.
now all is working again. GREAT SERVICE !!!

has anyone changed the diff ratio on a 81/83 Imperial from the very low
2.24 to a higher no. (2.94 or 3.23)for better performance? did it make a big
difference to fuel consumption ? I think it would be easier than fitting a
larger motor such as 360 or even a 440
