my 60 has the rear a/c - mine has got some dumb cloth substance thats a bit
perished, but its got the two side vents which swivel (kool!) and for the
large central rectangular hole its got a flat cast, I dunno, grille thing
with mesh in the middle - I think I've got a spare actually thinking about
it - all the castings (the three of 'em) are in black, which has a roughish
finish to it - I'm guessing its just the way the alloy has been cast -
directly under the centre bit theres just your standard accordian style
rubberised connecter between the top of the booster unit and the grille.
You've probably already had a dozen replies with photos so what I'm telling
you is probably nothing new...
but I got some spares when I bought the car in SoCal and I think I've got
one of those things spare....
Just something, my '60 appeared to have spats on it at some stage - theres
little clips in the rear wheel arches, and they sure ain't for trim, the car
was supposedly one owner - does anyone know of any spats or the like that
may have been available????
