Hi Tim.....thats what I think also but I have no idea WHERE this GREEN wire goes!!...it is not shown on the FSM wiring diagram (or at least I can't find it on there). If I knew where it went to, then I could try checking backwards or , if it goes to several different parts, I could try eliminating them one by one.....thats why I am hoping the someone out there has tried tracing down this green wire themselves...I'd really rather NOT start ripping the factory tape off the harness to trace down this wire....!

Have you checked the integrity of the green wire?  Maybe it's shorting  out 
somewhere along it's circuit.
