The correct puller has a hammering surface. This puts repeated "blasts" of pressure to break the drum free. It is friction fit on the tapered axle with a locking key, rendering a continuous pressure less effective. Be sure that you have the correct puller and the heaviest duty one available. If the puller is damaged during the process, it isn't the right one, and may cause damage & injury.

use a large hammer to hit the end shaft of the puller hit it hard then try the breaker bar then hit it again use some wd-40 wear glasses and keep theyour pets clear of the mayhem!

Have you tried a hammer?
It is amazing what you can do with a 2-3 lb sledge hammer in the right place.

Hey guys I own a 1961 imperial .I also own a 47 desotto. I have been trying to get the rear hub off the driver side wheel . I bought a heavy duty puller and it wont budge . I have never seen anything like this happen before I even used a 5 foot breaker bar and all I can get is the whole wheel spins slightly . I feel like I am breaking something what should I do
