Hi PAul! well, I tried checking with the local car parts place and even the Eastwood Catalog but no luck. I showed the picture you sent me (Thansk!) to the guy at AUTO ZONE and he had never seen the part beforeso.......I will chec with NAPA but then I will have to look for a body shop parts place like you did. Being I am 'out in the boondocks' so to speak this may take a while but I am just a stubborne Polack so will keep looking for a while yet!

I visited my body man to ask about a different special tool to remove the trim around the windshield on one of my newer cars. He called ahead and let them know I was coming in. While there, I discovered a plethora of relatively cheap tools that I could have used for many things and saved a lot of time/damaged parts. The windshield trim removal tool worked perfectly the very first time I used it. I had similar success with the door panel removal tool. It is amazing how nicely a job can go if the correct tools are used.

Mainly looking for a ball joint socket and a puller for the back drums and the door panel removal tool.  Thanks Dennis  for the websites I will find the correct socket and hopefully a puller but I will still need the door panel tool.   I would also like to look at the Miller tool catalogue if it is posted on the OIC and would volounteer my time if I could do anything here in Australia.   Thanks guys

Over the years I have had to improvise many times. Depending on what you are trying to do, there may be tools out there specifically for that purpose, but for a variety of makes. For example, I recently purchased a door panel removal tool that has the characteristics of several different tools all built into one. Obviously, some things are much more specialized, but I have always been able to do the job at hand.
 
What exactly are you working on?
