I have a 1963 Imperial Sales Team - Record and Slide Show Learning 
Presentation  that has been changed to video form.  In this, they show a 1963 Crown four 
door out speeding a 1963 Caddy in a marked course,  at the finish line.  They 
also go on to say  the third contender  ( that had tires from another member 
of the Ford family ) was no match for these two cars.

In a like note of trying to get more power in an Imperial manner,  I have 
installed a set of these (

http://www.allpar.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62553  ) .  They are a bolt on replacement for any 1958 
to 1966 MoPar 350-361-383-413-426 or 440 engined car.  As one can see,  they 
are of the famed HP design.  I am a frugal person at times and my exhaust 
manifolds cost me ten dollars for the pair at the A1 Auto Salvage Yard here in Colo 
Spgs.
