This is where I chime in again with my wish that the mailing list
would migrate to a web-based forum.

I agree, I’m an avid user of the ‘delete’ key. But I’ve noticed
that often times, problems with an Imperial are not limited to a
specific year. Plus it’s always interesting to read about issues
with other years of Imperials besides the one I own.

Personally I vote no on this one. It’s been discussed before, and
it always seems to come around to the fact that there is a lot more
to this community than simple repair advice on specific model
years. We all have a delete key on our computers, and if we could
just be vigilant about our own subject lines (such as “67 brake
calipers” rather than “I have a question” or “Imperial brakes”)
then we can make it easier on our neighbors in this community. But
to divide us up, no thanks! Just because it’s in my mailbox doesn’t
mean I have to read it, and neither does anyone.
Just my $0.02...
