Hola Graham
This is the place that has guru's for every Imperial and every Imperial part.
In 1962 the Imperial Division produced 1,010 Imperial Crown Coupe's. The
tires that you want are 235x 75x 15's. Any local tire shop has this size, but
the white stripe is narrower than before. Today's white-wall will appear
correct to the average person as they see your car passing by. ?? what's 5/16 of
an inch at 35 MPH ??
In order to get the wheel off, you need to review the following. The wheel
covering has a space for hot air venting a-long the outter edges. This is not
the space to stick a pry bar in to get them off. Slip ( force ) between the
rim and the part of the cover that is touching the rim, and pop them off. To
save yourself emmional stress clean and place the covers in the trunk, and
install at the shop. The left side lug nuts are LEFT THREADS. Have the shop
replace the valve stems with the longest ones they have so they stick through the
wheel cover.
What do you have for options on your car ?
