I don't know if this was the car but I will check out the photos on WPC. The Collector who was from Portland, had several Chrysler makes and was getting old. His wife asked him to liquidate except for a few favorites. He was an expert and priced the Imperial fairly. He didn't even mention mileage when describing it. The car had the Steeler radials with about a 1.75 inch white wall--it was such a beautiful example of 1963. Whenever gasing up or just driving, people would give me compliments or a thumbs up. Something I am certain many IML'ers experience with their cars.

That 63 sounds much like one that belonged to a member of the Northeast
Imperial Owners Club many years ago. His father in law bought it new & it
had less then 40K when he traded it on a 90 Imperial. If it was the same
car, it won best of show Imperial at the WPC meet in Carver Ma. in 1988.
There are some pics of it & the former owner in the WPC newsletter from that
year.
