IML: Restified cars

As to the length of the antenna, I know there are
different length power unit out there. And Doug is
right, unless you're going for concours show car, as
long as it looks right -- who cares.
I don't want to cut my dash for a radio but I bought a
Sony CD player that, IMO, will look at home in my '65
(incuding a choice for the display color that fits the
color of the car)
Then there's the question of brakes -- made of
unobtanium or very expensive if you can find them. But
a simple swap of suspension parts will net you easy to
find parts (as well as front disc -- or 4-wheel disc
depending on the donor)and, hidden behind the wheels
(which will be hidden behind hubcaps) nobody but you
and/or your mechanic will know.
Hmmm, now where's the power antenna that I bought for
my Newport?
