Nico. I have a NOS sensor in my garage. I'll test it tonight and report to
you the resistance.
You may want to read this article.

Hi,
I had a hard time figuring out, what's going on with my Auto-Temp System.
Now I hope I found the problem and I need your help:
The system only puts out warm and hot through the floor ducts. When I heat
up the in-car sensor with a lighter (I've got the dashboard apart)the
center
flaps open, the blower speed slows down)and heat goes down. The more I heat
up
the sensor, the colder it gets (AC works).
Now I suspect a bad in-car sensor and of course I don't have the Auto-Temp
Tester.
Does anybody have a reference for the resistance of the in-car sensor?
My sensor shows 520 ohms at 70° Fahrenheit (20° Celsius).
Or mabe someone has a known good sensor and can check the resistance.
Thank you from Gemany,
Nico
