Last summer, a Honda cut me off in my 67 Volvo.  The insurance wanted to "total"
the volvo and give me $1200 dor it.  After negotiations, I managed to get $2500
(still totaled), but got all the parts for about half of that cost (I did the
labor myself).  The way I got them to pay that much is by going to the net and
finding info that supported the claimed value of the car.

Needless to say, the Honda got serious structurad lamage, and probably resides
in a junkyard now.
