The switch is a relatively easy replacement and was
used on many years of Mopars, 60-66 and perhaps later
As far is the motors not corresponding to the
direction of the switch, it is likely the wiring is
not connected to the correct solenoids. There are
three solenoids (up, down, & rear-up/down only) that
engage with the motor when the switch activates them.
Unplug them all, then plug in one at a time to
determine which one makes the seat go back and forth
when the switch is activated. Then find the one that
makes the seat tilt at the rear. Plug in the
remaining one and you will have full vertical
movement.
