Hi Chris,

The price isn't all that out of line for a contition #4,  but it's hard to 
tell with so few pictures.  Collector Car Market Review lists these at 
around $3,300 for a #4.  If my Crown started up with no smoke or noise after 
12 years, so I wouldn't be too concerned about 2.
The nice thing about the Imperials is that you can do a good cosmetic or 
above restoration without worrying about getting too upside-down (unlike a 
certain 1979 Lincoln Continental Collector's Series I had).
It looks tempting, and it definately should be saved. If I had the 
time/money I'd be tempted myself but I don't so I won't.
Which reminds me; did anyone do anything about that white 1959 (which was 
listed as a '61) Imperial convertible with the red interior that showed up 
on the list?
