I already modded it. The a/c stuff was pulled out and the hole blanked off for the a/c tubes.

Not sure how will that will work.

Easier way would by to replace it with a non ac box. Simpler is just easier.

I've got an extra non-ac box that I'd be willing to work a trade on for your ac box . Just contact me off list if you're interested.

I have a question. I have a 64 dodge polara and I will be putting a gen 2 hemi in it in the future. The car was an a/c car. I will not be putting a/c back in it but I want to use the a/c heater box setup. Can I take the a/c guts out and just use the heater? Will the heater core tubes clear the engine and bellhousing? I dont think the non a/c box heater core exit will work with the hemi it looks like they will bump into the back of the left valve cover. The polaras that did have hemis originally I dont think had heaters. Or did they?
