Did you clean the posts? Also, those bolt on battery cable ends are junk. My 63 does that a lot, from not starting it enough I guess. I disconnect cables after running it. By the way, I have those bolt on battery cable ends, that's how I know they're junk. Have to take them apart and clean them quite a bit.
