 You could always get one at a junk yard...cheap...but you should still get 
it braced(welded with gussets) to avoid it happening again.

    My guess is the crack goes circular an inch or so near the bolt 
    flange.

      I just wanted to mention that I may have said trans 
      tailshaft problem when I meant it was the tailshaft housing and not the 
      shaft that broke.  Glad to hear I can weld and gusset it :-)
