Just learned something..so Sears will not replace their bottom line tools. I 
figured there had to be something to it. I know I have seen made in china on 
some of them.

I agree with Ollie that Harbor Freight is okay for hobby, used-once-in-a 
while, especially considering the price. I picked up a Harbor Freight 1/2" 
Electric Impact Wrench for under $40. Works okay for quick torque without 
need to run a compressor, like harmonic balancer bolt removal.  I don't 
think it would stand up well at a business level workplace. Yard sales and 
online like Craig's List is worth keeping an eye on. A buddy of mine found a 
treasure of tools at a yard sale that he saw advertised on Craig's List. 
Sadly, it turned out to be an estate sale, ("there are no u-haul trailers 
attached to a hearse!" as my  uncle used to say)  and a lifetime of 
top-quality professional tools in a shop were available at very cheap, 
bargain prices. On the Sears level, be careful, they won't replace forever 
their lower line, just the Craftsman top line, is my understanding.  dos 
pennies
