Hello You are right! But the crank is machined on center at a larger diameter intially an hen on stick cranks the are also drilled or the thin wall bushing . The hole being drilled by my method DOES NOT align the tran input shaft. The pilot is installed in the larger bore in the crank wich is on center. A machine shop is the best answer and this will suffice for a assembled motor. Kevin
