Not sure here, but did the 62 engines have the extended flange crankshaft?
The converter bolted directly to the flange instead of a flex
plate............................MO

I beleive that it depends on what the 65 was out of,,,,,,, if it was a
floor shift console car, I think you have to change the rooster comb in
the
tranny, but if it was a colum shift car it will bolt in, am sure someone
else
will correct me if I am wrong,,,
