Probably everyone on the forum know this except me, but aren't all our coils
12-volt. I'd appreciate any further info you could share so I understand

Dodger mentioned to a guy on the 318 site that he could by-pass his
ballast resistor if he had a 12v coil. Guess what, my Accel Super coil
is a 12v coil and after by-passing it I can rev to 6K without my
miss/cutting out problem!!!!! Duh! I guess experience helps us learn.
