I have experienced the same thing Rich.  My '63 is what I like to call a 
"re-survivor".  Anything done to it was done 30 years ago.  Not even close 
to what you'd call pristine.  Infact, it sat unattended in a dirt floor shed 
for several years, but I get alot of attention at cruises.  Maybe it's 
because it's bright red, or because it's a convertible, but I park next to 
my brothers '70 Charger and usually I get more traffic than he does.
