So, one cannot just replace the 64 tapered axles with say a 65 flanged
axle? Need to go to a flanged axle housing, too?

A 65 to 70 "B" body rear will bolt in! I think the 65 to 67 are a bit
narrower, but all will work fine!

A friend has a '64 Belvedere wagon with the 8.75 tapered axle rear end.
What does he need to do to switch to a flanged axle? Checked the 62-65
tech pages and felt it was vague on this issue.
Thanks.
