Sometimes the door will stick to the weatherstripping, when stored for
long periods.
Get inside the car, and using your shoulder, try busting down the door,
like they do in the movies.
Careful now. You're not twenty five anymore.
That's easier than taking the door panel off and working on the door to
open , to no avail.
If that doesn't work, go to another plan.
I went through all of that with the passenger door on my 65.
It apparently hadn't been opened for years, and when I started
dis-mantling it, I couldn't open it either.
After taking the door panel off, and it still wouldn't open, I tried
"busting in" using my shoulder.
Presto!

Hi all,
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!
The grinch must have stopped by and messed with the driver's door on a '64 Dodge in storage. I last opened the door around Hurricane Ike: worked fine. I tried to open it today and no go!
The door key makes the door lock latch go up and down, but neither the outside button nor the inside door handle will let me open the door.
Any tips about fixing?
Thanks,
Gary H.
