It is my understanding that the newer K frame will bolt in, but it sets the engine very close to the firewall and naturally the trans mounting will have to be modified because the trans also moves back. The driveshaft then needs to be shortened and exhaust will need tweaking.

Will a 66 or newer K Frame bolt up to my 63 Fury frame?  What is the 
interchangeability of them?  I am putting a 6.1 in and have found conversion 
parts are more readily available for the newer K Frame.
