FWIW, I made (chiseled, filed and sanded) a speaker grill delete
plate out of a chunk of redwood. painted it to match the interior
with a foil fratzog outlined in black. it's hinged and snaps shut
with a roller clasp. my real stereo is hidden behind it.
no one has ever questioned it, till I point it out. most people
thought it was stock. I have pictures.
