Correct fuel line?

I'm replacing my old rubber 5/16 main fuel line with 3/8 on my 63
Polara 500, 383 engine.  I see Inline Tube has both stainless and OEM.
 What is closer to original?  Are there advantages to one over the
other?  Stainless is $99 vs. $69.
