You will need to put in the floor hump, I did the same because I kept breaking
the collumn shifters. But I would avoid the JC whitney shifter I believe the
jc whitney is a Mr Gasket but it is terrible. I went with a Hurst Indy shifter
its tough and works great. Bob A.

JC Whitney has a three speed floor shifter that they say is for changing
from the column one. I want to know if you have to have the floor hump, or
just
cut a hole in the floor. I want to change to a floor shifter, but don't want
to go through the expense and hassle of that right now. Any help is greatly
appreciated.
