OR: "how the money men took something formerly innocent and beautiful
from my youth and turned it into something ugly, of course"
Okay, Christmas is over, I can now shake off all the Christmas cheer
and start griping again. heres my latest.
Some guy pulls six rusty water pump bolts from a 318 and packages
them as "original", "rare", "hard to find". and starts the auction
at 17.99.
Now come on, I dont care if he does claim they are in "good shape" (
how good of shape could the two or three bolts that screw into wet
water jacket holes actually be?), or if they have the correct little
factory marks, they are still just six old rusty bolts to me. probably
cost ten cents in the day.
and this just goes on and on more I am seeinmg, some dude trying to
sell a correct bolt for the coil strap for 3.99 starting bid or
something like that.
It takes everything in me to not punch "ask seller a question"- My
question would be- " are u some kind of %*##in' idiot??
Maybe I should just go out to the shop and light the cars on fire in
protest
