If both cranks are of the same type (cast or forged) and the Polished one
weighs the same as the bad one, nothing needs to be done with the block or rods
for it to run. However, for a couple of hundred bucks, new rod bolts and
getting them resized will let you sleep better. When low on bucks, like most
of us, put the $$ in the bottom end. Joey said that.
