Anyway, does anyone know who made the exhaust headers used on his
Valiant? I got an e-mail from a gentleman who wants to buy some that
are like the one's on Doug's '63, shown on the above Web address.
Gary, I wouldn't swear to it, but they look like the Hookers I saw on
the Big Block Dart page.
I'm curious about the amount of clearance needed in the fenders for all
those pipes. Can ya run anything but skinny drag tires on narrow rims
and still turn the wheels. Of course that becomes a moot point if your
major goal is to go quick, fast, and straight!
