I have a '04 Dakota 4wd, recently I towed my 63 Sport Fury on my 20'
trailer. Hills, curves and wind, could hardly tell the thing was back
there. Having a good trailer helps too !!

hello list
DAKOTAS FOR TOWING...
Dakotas will tow fine....had to flat tow my son's 1982 b150 box van from
verde valley up the hill to flagstaff...we passed cars on the stoneman lake
hill part of the climb....There make be harder pulls but not many.
Just to prove we are equal oppurtunity towers, this year we had to drag him
home from verde valley back to phoenix....easier pull...does point out the
need for a trailer....and a trailer has to be easier than a flat tow.
my 92 dakota is a 5.2 with headers and mopar's performance cam and
computer.
People that are towng their 62-65s Mopars with chevies and fords should be
investigated by the Mopar Loyality Police to make sure they aren't owning
62-65s just to hang around with cool people and cars...
EMULSIFIER TUBES FALL OUT....
Common problem....my 273 dart was like that./..a friends 400 monte
carlo.....a lot of quadrajets......
Pound it slightly flat and tap them back in...no big deal.....
HOT ENOUGH FOR YOU
My charger's clutch fan is a bit marginal....the boy mentioned above
trashed the shroud.....phoenix is a bit warm this time of year....my
440 charger runs about 235-240.....no big deal...doesn't blow off
coolant....doesn't ping...pulls hard....no big deal.....starts without any
problem.
When the car starts blowing off coolant....rattle and ping like
crazy....smell like a burning junkyard when shut down ...then its hot
enough for you
