fwiw, my brother and i come from two very different
belief systems, though he says if he had it to do over
he would have gone with the 484 purpleshaft, (he
doesn't race his car, a stock 69 bee)  he actually
likes the summit cam for street driving and economy.
i don't care about economy, just speed.
so depending on the intended use, a bargain may still
be a bargain.
