Re: Question on LED light conversion

It depends on the LED lights that you get and the set up.
The reason people use load resistors is because they have a 12-volt Supply to lights that are not rated for 12 volts. So do some homework and get the right lights without having to modify the voltage from your system to whatever lights That are not Correct for your system.

Some people are real sticklers for originality, which I'm okay with, however,. when it comes to electrical systems I say always upgrade to Modern specs, For example; When you come across a fusible link in your system whether it has failed or not yet, Install a modern fuse for protection rather than going through the headache of having the fusible link fail at some point in the future along with all the frustration that includes.
