One of the best non toxic ways to get Paint off plastic is regular household
Amonia.
It takes time, usually overnight to soften up the paint. The part has to be
covered in the Amonia.
I learned this trick restoring antique radios which somehow always got
painted. The Amonia wont harm the plastic, it just takes time. Be patient.
BTW Amonia is super cheap to use too.
