Indeed it is worth it, imho. 

Rust "bubbles" just grow if left unattended. Better to stomp the rust 
out now, as it will only end up a bigger repair later. 

Besides, body work is good "quality time" with your Dodge. You get to 
repeatedly rub the repair with sandpaper, acting like a Mopar 
massage therapist. :)
