I had to change my push rods when I installed roller rockers in my 426.
The new ones have a recessed socket in the top to accept the ball on the
adjustment screw of the roller rocker. One note of caution... the push
rods are larger in diameter than the stock ones, so they may rub against
the head... mine did. I had to file the heads to gain more clearance
for the push rods. Good luck with your project.
