Re[2]: {Chrysler 300} F Convertible at Hershey auction

The trunk reference page on the club web site will help with this answer:  Chrysler 300 trunk main page

The answer is no, it is not correct, as the factory installed power antenna had a bracket extending from the floor to help secure the antenna motor/mast.  It would have been difficult to properly fit the cardboard liner over this without severe distortion or tearing of the liner.  The 1961 trunk photos best illustrate this, especially this photo of the 71 mile original G in Nebraska that we had the pleasure of viewing at the 2024 Omaha meet.

That 300 F convertible at Richmond auctions has its passenger side interior trunk cardboard over and covering the power antenna motor. is that correct?

I saw it, but it was dark on Tuesday night at 830 and they lights were off. I only had my cellphone. By all accounts, a well restored car showing a little age, but nothing crazy. I think it being white held it back. I’m unaware of an F hardtop reaching those numbers.
Will have this to comp it to next week
