Really sorry to hear what you're going through. Life gives us unexpected surprises all the time and not always in a good way. We're about the same age. I'm in good health but got hit with covid last week, right after dropping my friends from Australia off at the airport. I obviously had it while they were here and one of them got a positive test a couple days later. I think I got it from some nut at cruise night the Friday before. My first time with it. I take car of my elderly parents in my house and it's been a challenge.

I hope you mend faster than you were told but make sure to be careful jumping back into it too soon.

The work on my rolling rebuilt of our “daily driver” 300K has come to a full stop and will not resume for several months. At the end of July, without any prior issues, I went into serious heart failure at 65 years old.

Open heart Surgery which went well…until it became apparent that I am allergic to the blood thinker heparin. So instead of a week in the hospital it became a month. I got home yesterday and feel like crap. It will be months like 3 to 6 before I can work on anything.

My upholstery guy has the rear seats done, but there is no way I can drive for at least a month or two to get the car down to him to install them. The fronts still need to be done.

What a PITA…

I hope everyone else out there is well.
