Nearly thirty years ago I modified a set of cop wheels to accept 14 inch wheelcovers and never looked back.  I use easy to source 235-75-15's and the fronts just barely touch the frame rail at full lock. Don't like that? Run a 225. I've shown a few Club members how to do it. You only need your 15" wheels and a pair of 14" sacrificial wheels.  Each 14" wheel yields a pair of "rings" which you weld onto the face of the 15" wheel. A little grinding and paint and done.  Any decent machine shop should be able to cut your 14's. You only need enough to hold the cover.
