RE: {Chrysler 300} 300K (1964) Rear Antenna

Because the electric ones are a PITA in front, but I also plan on putting on a right side mirror and to make it useful it falls about where the front antenna holes was. I welded it up prior to the new paint.

James, I have a 1965 300 which is similar in that the antenna rides a slope. I needed to replace my antenna with an aftermarket, albeit a front, but I needed to use the original trim bezel to match the body slope. I say this because I do not know if you have an original trim bezel or not, but that is an important consideration.

How far down from the end of the chrome mini-fin is the center of the hole?

I assume that it is equal distance from the fin to the trunk edge.

The aftermarket electric antenna’s want a one inch hole. That would be tight in that spot.
