Over the last decade or so I have been finding that brake parts, new and rebuilt, are often not very good. I have had brand new parts with internal seals that failed in months. When taken apart some seals had manufacturing flaws.

These days, I take all Master Cylinders and Brake Cylinders and send them to be sleeved with stainless, I used to do brass until Sierra Specialty Auto retired, and then I buy the guts and examine them and assembly them myself. You can also have the folks that do sleeving put them together for you in most cases.

Hello. 

I ordered a dorman, m63063 master cylinder, it’s listed for 300’s up to 59, but Chryslers up to 61, of course it’s not working right because reman parts are awful. 

What would the factory replacement number be for a 1960 300? 

Looked to be the exact same, just wanted to check with all of you before ordering another
